How to Pack Your Travel Set

Not a single person in this world travels light. Sometimes we do not even travel with hand luggage and small suitcases – we bring large suitcases, travel bags, or suitcases (depending on the purpose of our trip).

In order to organize your suitcase before the start of any trip, you need to think about whether this will be a long trip (more than a week) or just a weekend rest.

How to Pack a Suitcase

Packing a suitcase is not a simple task. You need to consider the size of your luggage, the number of outfits you are planning on taking and where you are staying. Here are some tips to help you pack your suitcase in an organized way:

1. Choosing the right size luggage for your trip

When choosing the right size for your luggage, try to pick something that is neither too big nor too small. A large suitcase can be difficult to carry, while a small one may not fit all of your belongings and will only cause frustration when you are trying to pack it up at home.

2. Filling up the empty space with soft items such as clothing or bedding

If you want to keep everything organized in your suitcase, try placing soft items such as clothing or bedding between hard objects like books or laptops so that they don't move around during transit. This will also help prevent damage caused by bumps along the way!

3. Pack clothes first before adding shoes or accessories later on

It's easy to forget about packing shoes if they're not visible at first glance when looking through clothes in a closet area - so make sure they're packed first before adding any other.

Step 1: Start Packing Early

Start packing your suitcase a few days before your trip. Packing early will give you the chance to take a second look at your selections and decide if you need to make any adjustments.

Step 2: Pack Clothes that Don’t Wrinkle

The first things you should pack in your suitcase are clothes that don't wrinkle easily.

Step 3: Heavy Stuff on the Bottom

This is the most important: fill the bottom of your bag with items that have some weight to them. And this doesn’t mean at the bottom of the underneath everything in a suitcase.

This means placing it at the bottom of the suitcase when it is standing up straight.

The purpose of this is when you finish packing your suitcase and turn it to stand up, the heaviest items will not be weighing down the lighter items like clothes that could wrinkle, or breakable items.

Step 4: Let It Roll

Roll as many of your clothes as possible.

If it doesn’t easily wrinkle, fold your clothes into a half and then roll it into a tube-like structure.

This compresses the the fabric into a small space, and also saves you some space.

Step 5: Pack Some Plastic (reusable, of course)

Use Ziploc bags to pack socks and underwear. When you pack plastic bags in your suitcase, it helps separate the worn items separate from the clean items, and you can easily throw it into the dirty laundry when you get home.

Step 6: Don’t Forget, Shoes are Filthy

Pack shoes using bags or plastic wrap.  Another good travelin trick is to pack shoes in shower caps so the bottoms do not touch anything else in your suitcase.

Step 7: If All Else Fails

Consider using a packing organizer to keep everything organized and in place while you're on the go.
