California is the most populous state in the US, and it's also one of the most beautiful. With a coastline on both the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, an abundance of beaches, mountains, and deserts, California has something for everyone.

And that's exactly what makes it so great and sexy for romantic getaways! So if you're looking for a weekend away from home in California that will be fun and exciting but also relaxing; then look no further. Not only do we have your travel suitcase set needs, but we also have you covered when it comes to a romantic weekend getaway in Cali.

Couples Weekend Getaway California

Couples weekend getaways are a great way to spend time with your significant other and do something fun. There are many benefits to taking a couples weekend getaway, such as building a stronger relationship, spending quality time together and having fun. Some examples of a couples weekend getaway include going on an adventure together or taking an afternoon trip to the spa.

Planning a couples weekend getaway is easy if you know what to do and where to go. First, find out what kind of experience you want from your trip by discussing it with your partner so that they know what they're getting into before hand. Then decide where in California you want to go based on factors like price range and how far away from home (and work) each location is located at so that neither party feels too tired after being gone for too long without working up enough energy levels again once back home again later on down the line!

Weekend Getaway Los Angeles

Los Angeles is a great place to visit for a weekend getaway. It's got good weather year round, it has many world-class tourist attractions, and it has plenty of exciting restaurants and bars to choose from. If you're looking for someplace new to explore with your partner without breaking the bank on a trip that requires an overnight flight, Los Angeles is easily accessible by car or train (or even bus!).

For those who want something more laid back than California's more famous destinations like San Francisco or Los Angeles itself, Santa Barbara should be right up your alley. It's a cozy little town with plenty of fun things to do: go wine tasting on the beach; watch whales off the pier while enjoying live music at night; hike through mountains nearby—the list goes on!

Palm Springs is also a Nearby Option

Palm Springs is a desert oasis and popular vacation destination for couples and singles. The city has many restaurants, hotels and other attractions to keep you busy throughout your trip. It's also a popular destination for celebrities.

Winery Weekend Getaway

Head to California's wine country for an unforgettable getaway. The state has hundreds of wineries and vineyards, so you'll have no trouble finding a place that suits your taste buds. Visit Napa Valley or Sonoma County, or go farther south to Monterey County, where you can sample wines from some of California's most famous vintages. Whether you prefer reds or whites (or both!), there are plenty of options in each category at every price point along the way. You may even find one that reminds you of your favorite romantic movie!

Napa Valley

Napa Valley is one of the most well-known and visited wine-growing regions in California. It's also one of the most popular weekend getaways for locals and tourists alike. There are plenty of great restaurants in town where you can dine on delicious food while staring out at sunset over the shimmering water—or even better, take advantage of their amazing patio seating and enjoy dinner outside under twinkling lights!

Yosemite National Park is another great mountain location if you're looking for outdoor fun without being too far away from civilization (and if you have time). Many people come here just for day trips because there are so many things to do within its borders: hiking; biking; horseback riding; rock climbing; fishing; boating...the list goes on! One thing that makes Yosemite stand out among other parks like Sequoia National Park is its proximity (less than two hours' drive) from San Francisco which means that after your day trip it's easy enough go back into town before dinner time rolls around again so no worries about missing out on good food options either way!

Big Sur

The region is home to many luxury hotels and resorts, as well as a variety of other accommodations. You can find everything from quaint bed-and-breakfasts to high-end resorts. If you're looking for something more unique, there are also cabins available in the area that offer an affordable option for families on vacation or couples looking for a romantic getaway.

The majority of Big Sur's top attractions are located along Highway 1, so be sure to bring your camera! The ocean offers beautiful views with every turn of your head. However, if you want something a little less crowded (and maybe even more beautiful), take some time away from Highway 1 by exploring some of the back roads in Big Sur. These roads will lead you through redwood forests and give you access to pristine beaches with hardly any people around!

The area surrounding Lake Tahoe is filled with natural beauty as well as man-made wonders such as Mount Rose Ski Resort and Cave Rock Park where you can see Native American petroglyphs.

Mendocino County

Mendocino County is a county located on the north coast of California. It has a population of 88,867 and spans 434 square miles (1,124 km2). The county seat is Ukiah. Its largest city is Fort Bragg, with an estimated population of 8,000.

Mendocino County is known for its redwood forests and Mendocino National Forest. The name comes from Cape Mendocino, which was named by Lieutenant Jose Francisco Ortega in 1791 after Antonio de Mendoza y Barros Sarmiento (1759-1803), who was viceroy of New Spain at the time.  This area was transformed into what would later be known as Rancho Yoctomi by Captain Richard Henry Dana (1815 - 1882) in 1835. The rancho was abandoned by 1849.
